This two-part workshop focuses on an often alluded to but never detailed aspect of the selling process (hint: attend this event to hear what it is) as well as what your brand is – and is not – which is vital since a great brand is more valuable (and critical) in business today than it has ever been before. 

Workshop highlights:

Part one: Matt DiMaio will focus on effective but rarely taught communication strategies. Specifically, he will present specific techniques to become an excellent listener. You will take away the following (among others):  

  • ·         The three “listening landmines” that are blowing up your ability to listen effectively.
  • ·         Understand how asking questions IS the answer
  • ·         Close more business right after you apply what you learn.

Part Two: Jason Hewitt will speak from the perspective that creating and maintain customers’ perceptions is only one aspect of branding.  The rest is in how you deliver the service and create the total customer experience.  He will be covering:

  • ·         Assessing your brand to identify its strengths and potential weaknesses
  • ·         Creating breakthrough messaging that reaches and compels your ideal customers to take notice and take action in as little as 15 minutes a day.
  • ·         Increasing your ROI every year with just your business card.

Meet the presenters:

Matt DiMaio is the founder of The Maestro Method: How to Learn Everything Faster.  He is also the author of How to Remember People’s Names and Forgetful No More! How to Overcome Absent-Mindedness and Start RememberingImportant in his other career as a musician, Matt also has a background in marketing and crowdfunding.

Branding and business development expert Jason Hewitt owns ILLUSTRATA     Brand Enlightenment and recently launched the Brand Spankin’ podcast.  He once worked with Presidents and foreign Heads of State at places such as the White House, the Pentagon, and Arlington National Cemetery as a representative of the United States Navy Ceremonial Guard; the figurative and literal "face" of the U.S. Navy.  Jason followed his enlistment by beginning a creative career in web site design and brand identity design that has taken him across the country, and now carries his message around the world
